A mouth watering dish which is a part of breakfast of almost every kitchen
Boiled potatoes 3
Wheat flour- 200 gms
Chopped onion 1
Chopped ginger- 1 tsp
Chopped green chilli- 1 tsp
Asafoetida- ¼ tsp
Garam Masala powder- 1 tsp
Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
Cumin- 1 tsp
Black pepper powder- 1 tsp
Salt as per taste
Chopped coriander leaves
1.Knead the wheat flour into a thick dough.
2.Then take the boiled potatoes in a bowl and mash them well.
3.Add chopped onions, green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds, red chilli powder, garam masala, black pepper powder, coriander leaves, asafoetida, salt and mix them well.
4.Make balls out of the flour. Then take these balls and flatten it up like a roti.
5.Apply some oil to it. Add the potato filling and close it.
6.Now gently flatten them up once again.
7.Heat oil in a pan and put the parantha to fry. Flip over when one side is done make sure both the sides are fried .
8.If you want a healthy version of this paratha then roast both the sides of the aloo paratha in a heatded pan.
9.Once roasted apply oil or ghee to it. Serve hot.
