British doctor invents makeup to protect women from acid attacks

463991_34867738LONDON  – A British doctor has invented a makeup to protect women from increasing acid attacks.

Dr Almas Ahmed, while spending about 10 years in making the non-reactive formula, said that her product can save the women from being disfigured.

She was inspired to create the compound by Katie Piper, who suffered an acid attack in 2008 at the hands of her ex-boyfriend, leaving her with severe facial injuries, including blindness in one eye.
