Scientists believe that this lake formed from a collision of meteorite 35-50 thousand years ago. It is a salt water lake which is very spherical. Its diameter is 1.2 kilometers. It is said that the lake that hit the body with the earth is said to have been weighing about one million tons.

Geologists and scientists have always been doing research on this lake and it is said that the water of this lake has been changing from time to time. Scientists have different opinions about the change in water color. It is being said that due to the increase of Halobacteria and Duonilla fungus in salt water, the pigment called carotenoids increases due to which the water can become red.
