CBI investigation continues in the film actor Sushant Singh Rajput death case. At the same time, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), while taking action in this case, Abdul Basit Parihar and Zaid Vilatra have been arrested from Bandra, Mumbai. This information has been given by NCB.
According to the NCB, Basit and Zaid Vilatra had links with Samuel Miranda , an associate of Riya Chakraborty, the main accused in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case . Miranda is accused of buying drugs on the instructions of Shovik Chakraborty (brother of Riya Chakraborty). The NCB has also arrested another accused Zaid Vilatra associated with the same case.
On August 27, the Narcotics Control Bureau formed a team to investigate their alleged transaction of banned drugs against Riya Chakraborty and others in the Sushant Singh death case. The NCB had filed a criminal case in the drugs related case a day earlier. The case came up during the investigation in the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
CBI’s eight-hour questioning of Riya’s parents:
CBI on Tuesday questioned actress Riya Chakraborty’s parents for eight hours. The two appeared before the investigation team at the DRDO guest house in Santa Cruz, Mumbai. The team of CBI is staying in this guest house. The CBI has questioned Riya’s parents for the first time in this case. The official said that Riya’s father Indrajit Chakraborty and mother Sandhya Chakraborty reached the guest house at around 11 am with their Shovik Chakraborty. His car was accompanied by a police vehicle. Shovik was also questioned on Tuesday. Riya has been interrogated for nearly 35 hours in the last four days and her brother is also being questioned.
Riya used to have parties to keep Sushant busy: Samuel
had earlier said during interrogation, ‘I was hired by Sushant’s sister Priyanka and her husband Siddharth. They told me that besides taking care of the house, handling the staff and giving them salary, will be in my hands. One day, Priyanka had flare up on Staffer Abbas. At that time, Dipesh also quit his job with Abbas. Sushant had a quarrel with his sister Priyanka and her husband, after which both left for their home.
Samuel had also said, ‘Riya’s brother Shovik and father also used to keep coming to Sushant’s house. Riya and several workers described Capri Heights as ghostly. Sushant was a little worried about his finances. Riya used to have a party once or twice a week, so that Sushant could stay busy. But many times he did not come out of his room. They used to lock themselves in the room.
Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14 in his flat in Bandra. His body was found hanging from the fan. Initially, the Mumbai police investigated the case, but later the entire case was handed over to the CBI following a Supreme Court order.
