Indian-American voters like Trump’s campaign video, PM Modi is eyeing

A promotional video of the Republican Party is making a splash in the country ahead of the presidential election scheduled for November 3 in the US, especially among Indian-Americans whose votes can prove to be decisive in some states’ electoral grounds. The video includes scenes from two historic rallies of President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the past year.

Titled ‘Four More Years’, the 107-second video begins with footage of Prime Minister Modi’s visit to the US during last year’s trip to Houston among 50,000 enthusiastic supporters along with him and Trump.

In the background, Modi is heard saying that he does not need any introduction. His name appears in almost everything. US President, Mr. Donald Trump. Then the video shows the first leader of America with the two leaders Melania Trump trumpeting the huge crowd in America during the February Namaste Trump event this year.

The video ends with Trump’s promise of American loyalty to India. In this, Trump is heard saying, “America loves India … America respects India.” America will always remain a loyal friend of the Indian people.

Indian-American psychiatrist Dr. Maya Puri said, ‘When I saw the video’ Four More Years’ for the first time, my hair got erect. I really wanted to stand up and cheer. Seeing this, I got tears in my eyes. The ‘Four More Years’ video was released by the Trump campaign during the Republican National Convention last month.
