New Israeli Crysanthumun flower named after Modi after PM visits Danziger flower farm

1499183034-flower_modiTel Aviv: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Israel is a historic one indeed. Prime Minister received an extraordinary welcome by Israeli Prime Minister who welcomed him at the airport with a warm embrace.

Accompanied by Israeli PM Netanyahu, PM Modi began his trip with a visit to the Danziger Flower Farm in Tel Aviv, where advanced agriculture technologies were showcased by the Israeli Government.

However, the highlight of the visit was that a flower has been named after Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

At the flower farm, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Israeli PM Netanyahu were briefed about the research technologies being used there for floriculture.

Prime Minister Modi was accorded a warm welcome at the Tel Aviv Airport on his arrival. PM Netanyahu greeted him saying, “Aapka swaagat hai, mere dost (Welcome, my friend).”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that it was his singular honour to be the first  Prime Minister of India to undertake this groundbreaking visit to Israel.

On Wednesday, PM Modi will be meeting ten year old Moshe Holtzberg, who was a survivor of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. He was two years old when he was saved by his Indian nanny Sandra Samuel. Moshe’s father Rabbi Gavriel and mother Rivkah were among eight Israeli nationals killed in the 2008 terror strike.
