Mutton-Mushroom Fry (Cookery)

COOKING TIME: 40 minutes

Mutton – 500 gms
Mushroom – 100 gms
Corn flour – 2 tablespoon
Yellow capsicum – 1
Red capsicum – 1
Green capsicum – 1
Garlic – 6 pods
Big onion – 2
Green chilli – 3
Ginger – 2 inch piece
White pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
Vinegar – 2 teaspoon
Soy sauce – 3 teaspoon
Tomato sauce – 3 teaspoon
Turmeric powder – ½ teaspoon
Spring onion – as required
Salt – as required
Oil – 300 ml

– Marinate the mutton with salt, corn flour, vinegar and turmeric powder for half an hour.
– Chop the capsicums and onion lengthwise.
– Slit the green chillies.
– Clean the mushrooms and chop into two.
– Dice the ginger finely.
– Heat a pan with Oil and deep fry the marinated mutton.
– Heat another pan with two tablespoon of Oil.
– Toss the mushrooms and keep aside.
– Heat another pan with three tablespoon of Oil.
– Saute onion, green chillies, garlic and ginger.
– Toss the capsicums.
– Sprinkle salt and white pepper powder.
– Add soy sauce, tomato sauce and stir well.
– To this add the fried mutton and stir.
– Pour a little amount of water.
– Add the mushrooms and stir well.
– Remove from fire.
– Garnish with spring onion and serve.
