Eastern Bergen County (New Jersey) — The League of Women Voters of Northern Valley (LWVNV) celebrates the spring season with its 77th Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 9 at 6:00 p.m.\u00a0 The Annual Meeting will be held at Donatella Ristorante, located at 12 Tappan Road in Harrington Park, New Jersey.<\/p>\n

The admission to attend the meeting is $40 payable online at\u00a0https:\/\/lwv-of-northern-valley.constantcontactsites.com\/store<\/a>\u00a0or at the door.\u00a0 For reservations, send your name, email and phone number to LWVNV President Nike Bach at\u00a0nike.bach@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Deborah Visconi of Bergen New Bridge Medical Center to Speak<\/u><\/p>\n

Guest speaker Deborah Visconi, President\/CEO of Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, will discuss the challenges of transforming the Paramus-based 100-year hospital from a for-profit institution to a not-for-profit facility and her on-going leadership focus to both improve and expand service(s), while obtaining positive operating margins.\u00a0 New Bridge Medical Center is the country’s fourth largest, publicly owned hospital, serving as a safety net for New Jersey’s most vulnerable population in the state’s most populous county.<\/p>\n

Selection of Officers and Directors<\/u><\/p>\n

The meeting’s agenda includes a social hour with a cash bar, dinner and dessert, and voting on the 2023-2024 budget.\u00a0 In addition, the League of Women Voters of Northern Valley’s Nominating Committee will present the slate of officers, directors, and nominating committee members to approve for 2023-2025.\u00a0 The officers include President Nike Bach, First Vice President of Marketing Joyce Luhrs, Treasurer Vicki Sidrow, and Secretary Andrew Meehan.\u00a0 The incoming directors are Linda Cetta, Kelly Epstein, Anne Lander, Julie O’Connor, and Sally Tayeb.\u00a0 The Nominating Committee includes Cathie Mick and Andrew Meehan.<\/p>\n
