the Master Plan (MPD)-2041 will be notified soon.\u00a0The Prime Minister&#8217;s Office (PMO) has indicated that the round of meetings with the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Development and Delhi Development Authority (DDA) regarding this matter has ended.\u00a0<\/span><span>Wherever there was any doubt, it has been clarified through discussion and wherever any suggestion was needed, it has been given.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span class=\"VIpgJd-yAWNEb-VIpgJd-fmcmS-sn54Q\">It is noteworthy that as DDA Chairman, LG VK Saxena had approved its draft in the beginning of March 2023 itself.\u00a0<\/span>After this, in mid-April it was sent to the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Development for notification.\u00a0DDA officials have since said that nothing is pending at their level, whatever has to be done, has to be done by the ministry itself.\u00a0On the other hand, sources in the ministry say that MPD 2041, divided into 10 chapters and two sections, has been seriously studied before notifying.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The scope of discussion on various aspects of this plan, which came under question after the Yamuna floods, became wider.\u00a0According to sources, after giving the green signal to MPD 2041 at the ministry level, it has also been discussed with a group of ministers including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Puri and many other ministers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Sources reveal that the PMO has not asked for any specific changes in the master plan.\u00a0It has only been asked to ensure that whatever blueprint and provision has been made in it, it should be strictly implemented.\u00a0It is known that in the Master Plan 2041, emphasis has been laid on innovative interventions like environment friendly development, land pooling, heritage conservation, Yamuna rejuvenation.\u00a0These are strategic and efficient guidelines to guide the future development of Delhi, based on lessons learned from the implementation of previous plans.\u00a0Besides, efforts have also been made to learn from across the country regarding the implementation of various projects and schemes.\u00a0DDA officials said that the vision of this plan is to promote a sustainable, liveable and vibrant
