The company handed over an IFB 10 kg washing machine, water dispenser, two 4-seater airport chairs and two kangaroo chairs at a function organised at the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The Government Women and Child Hospital in Thycaud, which came into being in the year 1914, is among the premier hospitals in Kerala functioning under the Department of Health Services. The service-oriented hospital has a record of a high number of 350 deliveries per month, an inpatient bed strength of 428.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-662000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.malayalamdailynews.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/ust-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"323\" \/>The CSR project for the Government Women and Child Hospital was planned and coordinated by Sofi Janet, CSR Ambassador, UST. The handover function was attended by UST officials Shilpa Menon, Thiruvananthapuram Centre Head; Vineeth Mohanan, CSR Finance Lead; and Roshni Das, Lead-PR and Marketing \u2013 Kerala. Hospital authorities Dr. Santha K, Superintendent; Dr. Swapnakumari (deputy supdt),Dr. Bennet xylem(HOD) ,Dr. Saji David (consultant), Dr. Reena. J. Sathyan (Jr consultant), Dr. Sreekala (RMO), Snehalatha (Nursing supdt), Anandavally (deputy nursing supdt), Girishankar (PRO), Shamla Malik (HICN), Deepa (Nursing officer, SNCU) were among those present.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the Thycaud Government Women and Child Hospital facing constraints with regard to funds for the purchase of equipment for better patient care, the authorities had approached UST for aid. The CSR team at UST, as always, swung into action and made sure that the much-needed equipment was made available for use in the hospital.
