She expressed deep concern about how, in this digital age of social media, people have unrealistic expectations from their relationships, which are causing more harm than good.<\/p>\n

During a radio show in Mumbai , Kangana Ranaut said that a relationship between two people is deeply personal. It can’t be measured against the “picture-perfect” romances seen online. She added that platforms like Instagram are influencing the mindset of young people. Kangana said, “I strongly feel that today’s generation should distance themselves from social media love, like proposing on one knee, showing off expensive rings, glitzy vacations, and grandiose ostentation. Many couples these days start comparing their actual relationship to others’ carefully curated online content and start doubting their own true feelings.”<\/p>\n

Explaining a major reason for the breakdown of relationships, Kangana said, “Most relationships these days are dying simply because people are constantly comparing their lives with others’ reels. They always have this regret in their mind that ‘why isn’t my life as perfect as that?'” Along with this, she termed the concept of ‘love at first sight’ of the cinematic world as complete nonsense. Smiling, she said, “My personal story was not at all like love at first sight. Perhaps it was ‘hate at first sight’, which gradually turned into deep love with time.”<\/p>\n

Kangana emphasized that every relationship in the world is unique because the two individuals involved come from different family backgrounds and experiences. Giving a beautiful example, she explained, “Every family has its own unique story. No two people in the world can have the same upbringing, career, or life partner. Relationships are like tailor-made clothes. What works for one couple may not necessarily work for another. Just like clothes of your size fit only you, your relationship is made only for you.”<\/p>\n

Kangana Ranaut advised that instead of chasing the hollow ideals of social media, learn to accept the small flaws of your partner. She said, “If you have found the right partner of your life, even if he has some flaws, but if your heart says that this is the right person for you, then never compare him with Instagram reels. Learn to appreciate the happiness you have. Today many people are unhappy only because instead of appreciating what they have, they are chasing what social media is showing them.”<\/p>\n
