\"\"<\/a>New Delhi: Demands for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan have intensified over paper leaks and exam irregularities. Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has issued a strong response to the protests being carried out by the “Cockroach Janata Party.” Speaking to the media, he said that this is a natural movement, about which people have different opinions. Some are calling it sponsored by the “deep state,” while others are considering it a manifestation of the frustration and deep resentment of the country’s youth.<\/p>\n

Jairam Ramesh further stated that this movement has garnered considerable media attention and attention in the media and on social media. However, he clarified that it is not a political party. According to him, in a democracy, the final decision and the most important role rest with political parties and their organizational structures.<\/p>\n

The Congress leader claimed that this movement has become a powerful medium for expressing the youth’s frustration and dissatisfaction with the system. He said that the real responsibility of amplifying this message of youth now lies with political parties. Movements play a vital role in democracy, but the entire democratic system cannot rely solely on movements; its true foundation lies in political parties.<\/p>\n

During this conversation, Jairam Ramesh also shared his experiences working with Sonia Gandhi. Recalling the 2004 elections, he said that at that time, no one expected Congress to win. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a strong, influential, and charismatic leader, which made no one confident of a Congress victory. However, Congress performed a remarkable feat, emerging as the single largest party with 145 seats and forming the UPA government, after which Dr. Manmohan Singh served as Prime Minister for the next 10 years.<\/p>\n

He praised Sonia Gandhi, saying she always kept the party united and steered it in the right direction. He recalled that there was a time when Congress had 15 Chief Ministers in the country, and special conferences were held for them. The first conference was held in Guwahati, the second in Srinagar, and then in Delhi.
