Owaisi’s efforts to strengthen his hold in the state’s Muslim-majority areas are raising the possibility of a major electoral shift. Political analysts believe that this strategy could not only dent the Samajwadi Party-Congress vote bank, but could also indirectly benefit the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party.<\/span><\/p>\n

Owaisi has chosen strategically important districts like Bahraich, Bijnor, and Saharanpur for his election campaign. In Bahraich, where the Muslim population is approximately 34 percent, Owaisi’s presence could impact the SP’s traditional vote bank. Similarly, in areas like Bijnor and Saharanpur, the Muslim voter base exceeds 40 percent. Owaisi’s aggressive campaigning in these areas could pose a major challenge for the SP and Congress to maintain their electoral ground, as these parties have a strong claim on the Muslim vote in these areas.<\/span><\/p>\n
