This move will bring relief to all the migrant workers and Indian youth who work as delivery boys in the UAE and live on the streets in the scorching sun.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">According to officials, the RTA has constructed approximately\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">40<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0concrete and air-conditioned rest stations in major and busy areas of the city. These modern facilities\u00a0are located in crowded areas like\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">Al Barsha<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0,\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">Al Satwa<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0, and\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">Hessa Street . These rooms can accommodate approximately\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">10<\/span><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0riders at a time. They also include drinking water machines, mobile charging facilities, and dedicated bike parking spaces.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This initiative coincides with the UAE government&#8217;s annual midday work order, which\u00a0prohibits working outdoors in direct sunlight between\u00a012:30 PM and 3:00 PM\u00a0from June 15th\u00a0to September 15th. To improve the safety and health of workers, the RTA recently\u00a0launched the\u00a0&#8216;Safe and Healthy Summer for Delivery Riders&#8217;\u00a0campaign in collaboration with food delivery platform\u00a0Keeta . As part of this campaign, more than\u00a05,000\u00a0health kits were distributed among workers.
