He was one of the early and prominent figures of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He contested the 2014 Lok Sabha election from the Amethi constituency but was unsuccessful.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\" dir=\"auto\">Since parting ways with the Aam Aadmi Party, there has been considerable speculation about Vishwas\u2019s political future. Now, with reports suggesting that his name has appeared on the BJP\u2019s probable candidate panel, speculation has once again intensified over whether he could begin a second innings in active politics.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\" dir=\"auto\">The Uttar Pradesh BJP has reportedly submitted a panel of names to the party\u2019s central leadership following discussions at the state level over candidates for the Rajya Sabha seats. Kumar Vishwas\u2019s name is said to have been proposed alongside those of several senior and organisational leaders of the party.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\" dir=\"auto\">However, the final decision on the candidates will be taken by the BJP\u2019s central leadership, and the party has not yet officially announced its nominees.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Voting for Uttar Pradesh\u2019s 10 Rajya Sabha seats is scheduled for October 16, and the candidate-selection process is reportedly in its final stages.
