Sukumaran Nair made these remarks while addressing the 113th Vijayadashami Nair Maha Sammelan and the inauguration of the 90th-anniversary celebrations of the Changanassery Taluk Union.<\/p>\n

Criticizing political parties, Sukumaran Nair alleged that they were showing little interest in protecting the rights and legitimate benefits of forward communities. He accused political leaders of neglecting forward communities while generously extending various benefits to other sections of society. He urged community members involved in politics to recognize this discrimination and stand firmly for the legitimate demands of their community.<\/p>\n

He further alleged that deliberate attempts were being made to undermine the achievements and activities of the NSS. According to him, legal proceedings are being initiated against the organization, while accusations that the NSS influences the judiciary are also being circulated. Sukumaran Nair described these allegations as part of a broader campaign aimed at tarnishing the organization’s reputation.<\/p>\n

He also claimed that allegations regarding the loss of institutions under the NSS were being used as a tool to weaken the organization. Questioning the financial resources behind the continuous legal battles and social media campaigns, he said the source of funding for such coordinated activities needed to be investigated. He expressed suspicion that powerful financial interests could be supporting these efforts.<\/p>\n

Addressing controversies surrounding the Pathanapuram Taluk Union, Sukumaran Nair explained that a new governing committee had assumed office following the resignation of 12 members of the 17-member committee. According to him, the resignations were prompted by dissatisfaction with the functioning of the union president.<\/p>\n

He maintained that the leadership changes were carried out in accordance with the organization’s internal procedures and alleged that misleading information was being circulated about the developments.<\/p>\n

Responding to criticism regarding his educational qualifications, Sukumaran Nair asserted that he possessed the necessary qualifications to hold a responsible position within the organization. He emphasized that he had entered public service not for personal benefits or positions of power, but to serve the community and the NSS.<\/p>\n

He also expressed confidence that attempts to disrupt the organization’s activities or create divisions within its ranks would not succeed.
