At the same time, Chauhan said that the Revenue Minister of Karnataka has requested additional funds under the Watershed Scheme, so we are releasing additional funds of Rs 97 crore to Karnataka for the Watershed Scheme. The Agriculture Minister of the state has demanded additional funds under the mechanization scheme, we have also accepted that. Apart from this, demand for additional staff has also been made for the Aatma Yojana of the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, which we will also fulfill. Apart from this, in the review meeting, the three ministers have submitted some memorandums regarding schemes and development works, we will also discuss this.

Chauhan said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, we will leave no stone unturned in the development of Karnataka. I request the state government to spend the funds properly on time, send the utilization certificate, then the Government of India will leave no stone unturned for the betterment of Karnataka.

The Union Minister said that in the month of September last, the Central Government had approved the construction of 2 lakh 26 thousand 175 houses to the state of Karnataka, for which the amount was also allotted. We have again increased that target for the permanent houses of the poor in Karnataka and Karnataka has so far allotted 4,76,556 more houses for the poor. Overall, a target of 7,02,731 houses has been set for Karnataka in this financial year. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, serving the poor is like worshipping God for us. It is our resolve that every poor person should get a permanent house. I have also requested the Karnataka government to complete the construction of houses at a fast pace so that permanent houses can be built for all the poor.
