Patna: Speaking at the Constitution Security Conference in Patna, Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said that there should be a caste census to understand the real situation of the country. It will not be like the fake caste census done in Bihar, policy should be made on the basis of caste census, Congress will pass the caste census in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. We will demolish the obstacle of 50 percent reservation. During this, Rahul Gandhi said that where is it written in this book (Constitution of India) that all the wealth of India should go into the hands of only two to three people, MLAs and MPs have no power in today’s India. When I meet BJP MPs belonging to backward communities, Dalits, tribals, they say that we have been put in a cage.
Rahul Gandhi said that when they came to know that people from backward communities, Dalits are taking representation, they gave you representation but snatched away the power. Power has been given to Ambani, Adani and RSS. They have placed their people in every organisation. Rahul Gandhi further said that we wanted that just like the water of Ganga flows everywhere, the ideology of the Constitution should also reach every person, every institution of the country. A few days ago, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat had said that India did not get independence on 15 August 1947. If RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is saying that India did not get independence on 15 August 1947, then he is rejecting the Constitution of India… He (RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat) is erasing the ideology of Dr. BR Ambedkar, Lord Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi from every institution of India.
