Delhi elections: AAP task force to woo voters

Delhi: With the assembly elections in Delhi approaching, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) sources said that a task force has been formed to woo voters from the Purvanchal community living in the national capital.

AAP has formed seven teams under the leadership of party leader Sanjay Singh to cover the seven Lok Sabha constituencies in Delhi. The aim of these teams is to formulate a strategy to connect voters from the Purvanchal community with AAP at the ground level.

Party sources said the teams are expected to focus on engaging with the people of Purvanchal and highlighting how the BJP is against them. The AAP’s move comes after the BJP national spokesperson was forced to apologise for his remarks against the AAP MLA. Party sources added that Sanjay Singh is holding regular meetings with those associated with this task force across Delhi.
