Patna: Terming Pakistan as a hub of terrorism, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said that India is a supporter of world peace but Pakistan-sponsored terrorism and attacks against India have forced the country to give a strong response.
He said that the world community wants peace and freedom from terrorism and anyone who promotes violence will have to face opposition at the global level.
Vijay Sinha said on Friday that Pakistan has made its intentions clear by harbouring terrorism and carrying out attacks against India. Referring to the Pahalgam attack, he said that India will no longer tolerate such acts. India has always chosen the path of peace, but Pakistan’s actions have prompted us to retaliate.
The Deputy Chief Minister appealed to people of all castes, religions, regions and languages to unite and fight against terrorism. He said that the whole country is united under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The security of every Indian is our priority. We are standing with full force against the enemies of terrorism. The Bihar government, in collaboration with the Center, is taking all possible steps to increase security in the border areas and protect the citizens.
At the same time, Janata Dal (United) spokesperson Sanjay Singh also gave a strong message to Pakistan. He said that we salute Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His policies and bold leadership have created panic in Pakistan today. His message is clear that if you kill one, we will kill a thousand. India’s army and government are fully prepared to respond to any threat.
After India’s air strike on terrorist camps in Pakistan and PoK, Pakistan is continuing its attempts to attack the Indian border. On the intervening night of 8 and 9 May, several drones and missiles were fired targeting India, which were destroyed in the air by the Indian Army. The states bordering Pakistan are on high alert. The CM of Rajasthan has also given instructions to cancel the leave of all government employees and all educational institutions have been closed in Punjab too.
