Haryana : The Haryana Police have arrested Jyoti Rani, a YouTuber from Hisar, on charges of spying for Pakistan.
A case has been registered against Jyoti at the Civil Lines police station in Hisar. She has been presented in court and has been taken into custody for a five-day remand.
Hisar Deputy Superintendent of Police Kamaljeet stated that Jyoti was in contact with Pakistan’s intelligence agencies and was transmitting sensitive information via social media.
He said that Jyoti had traveled to Pakistan four times, which is why India’s security agencies were keeping an eye on her.
