Indore: This year, on the auspicious occasion of Navratri, Indore is going to witness a grand and unique religious event. A huge Navratri festival will be organized in VIP Paraspar Nagar from 22 September to 2 October. Krishnagiri Peethadheeshwar, Vasant Vijayanand Giriji Maharaj will perform puja in this event. Thousands of devotees will chant one crore mantras during 10 lakh havan aahutis. For this event, huge preparations are being made for the first time for the huge Navratri festival in Paraspar Nagar of the city.
Regarding the event to be held from 22 September to 2 October 2025, Krishnagiri Peethadheeswar Pujyapad Jagatguru Acharya Vasant Vijayanand Giriji Maharaj said, “In this event, first of its kind in Madhya Pradesh, 30000 kg of pure dry fruits and medicines, 20000 kg of yellow, white and red sandalwood and other sacred trees, 7000 kg of Desi Cow Ghee, divine fruits like dates, raisins, amla and rare herbs and other divine materials will be used. Which will make it a unique confluence of spirituality and grandeur.”
He said, during this time there will be a passionate recitation and lecture of Devi Bhagwat Katha. In which 1 crore kumkum archana will be done and 1 crore mantras will be chanted. At the same time, 10 lakh havan offerings will be given by the devotees participating in the havan. A grand tableau of Maa Durga and 12 Jyotirlingas will be created in 23 forms. 11,000 gold-coated Ashtalakshmi Kalash will be consecrated with 10 lakh offerings for chanting 1 crore mantras.
In all the 11,000 Kalash, various divine items will be kept in each Kalash to attract Mahalaxmi. These include Dakshinavarti Shankh, Nav Ratna, 32 types of semi-precious stones, 32 types of gems, two rare Rudrakshas, 5 gram silver coin with Mahalaxmi printed on it of 999 purity, Panchdhatu (gold, silver, copper, brass, bronze), 154 types of rare medicines and a total of 451 such divine items will be kept.
