South Africa’s emerging batsman Dewald Brevis, who is always available to help, has said that he had the privilege of sharing the dressing room with Mahendra Singh Dhoni while playing for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2025 season.
According to Brevis, he cannot forget the time spent in the dressing room with Dhoni for the rest of his life, it gave him an opportunity to learn a lot. Brevis praised Dhoni a lot and said that despite being such a great player, he is very humble. The door of his room is always open to help all the players.
Brevis recalled the days of IPL, how Dhoni was always ready to help his teammates. According to Brevis, he used to talk to Dhoni on matters other than cricket. His presence was as inspiring outside the field as it was in the matches.
This emerging batsman said, ‘I always tell people that it was a wonderful experience. His simple nature impresses me the most. The time he gives to the players and people outside the field is also a big thing.’ Brevis was included by CSK last season as an alternative to Gurpanjeet Singh. This cricketer scored 225 runs for CSK in 6 matches. During this, his strike rate was 180 runs.
