New Delhi: Attempts to destabilize India from across the border continue. After Operation Sindoor, India’s operation following the Pahalgam terror attack, crippled the backbone of terrorists based in Pakistan. These same terrorist organizations are now resorting to new tactics to further destabilize the country. The terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed is now forming a special women’s brigade, named Jamaat al-Muminat.
Sources say this group has been active since 2024 and aims to brainwash women and recruit them into its network. This brigade has been created as the women’s wing of Jaish, conducting psychological warfare, propaganda, and ground-level recruitment.
Jamaat al-Muminat is reportedly active not only in Jammu and Kashmir but also in parts of Uttar Pradesh and South India through its online network. Its activities are spreading through social media, WhatsApp groups, and the network of some madrasas. The organization’s goal is to lure women in the name of religion and use them for its own purposes.
According to intelligence agencies, this new Jaish circular includes images of Mecca and Medina to give it a religious twist. Furthermore, it contains a variety of emotional messages designed to appeal to educated and urban Muslim women. This entire campaign is being conducted to appeal to women’s emotions and influence them towards the organization’s goals.
The report also states that Jamaat al-Muminat operates on a cell-based structure similar to Jaish. This means that various small groups are recruiting, raising funds, and spreading messages through social media or madrasas. Intelligence agencies have also stated that they have found concrete evidence of a Pakistani connection to this circular.
