Mumbai: Five years have passed since the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, one of Bollywood’s most talented and celebrated actors, but the matter remains a topic of discussion. Now, the issue is once again in the headlines thanks to Sushant’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, who recently made a shocking claim about her brother’s death in an interview.
In an interview with Shubhankar Mishra, Shweta said that her brother did not commit suicide, but was murdered, and that two different psychics told her this. She said, “One psychic was from America and the other was from Mumbai. Both said the same thing: Sushant was murdered by two people.” Shweta’s claims have once again sparked debate on social media, and the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput is trending once again.
Shweta raised several questions in her statement. She stated that in the room where Sushant was found, there wasn’t enough distance between the fan and the bed for someone to hang themselves. She also stated that no stool was found at the scene, further reducing the likelihood of suicide. According to Shweta, the marks on her brother’s neck were not from a scarf or cloth, but rather from a thin object, perhaps a chain.
In the interview, Shweta revealed that an American female psychic had contacted her. She practices meditation and trance and gathers information from a person’s energy. According to Shweta, “The woman didn’t even know us, but she clearly stated that two people came and killed him.” Shweta says that shortly after this, another psychic from Mumbai also told her the same thing. Both women, without knowing each other, said the same thing: “Two people came and killed Sushant.”
Shweta also said during the conversation that psychics told her that someone had been planted in Sushant’s life to break him mentally. She said, “Brother was progressing very fast. No one liked it. The psychic said that even black magic had been used on him. We didn’t believe it because we come from a family with a scientific mindset, but now everything makes us think.”
Shweta also mentioned an old social media post by Sushant’s former girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, in her interview. She said that Rhea had written a poem on her Instagram – “You are soaring too high and your wings need to be cut.” According to Shweta, “These lines were very strange and unsettling. Rhea was in Sushant’s life at the time, and my brother also liked the post. But when the psychics told me everything, I found the poem even more terrifying.”
Sushant’s death in 2020 shocked the entire nation. Investigations by the Mumbai Police, the Enforcement Directorate (ED), the National Crime Records Bureau (NCB), and even the CBI have failed to yield any concrete conclusions. Millions of his fans remain unconvinced that it was a suicide. Shweta’s new claim has reopened old wounds.
