Election campaigning for the Bihar Assembly elections is underway. Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra visited West Champaran in this connection. During the visit, she launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that he should establish a Ministry of Insult. Defending her brother and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, she said, “My brother has never said anything that would insult the army.”
Speaking to the media, Priyanka Gandhi said, “I suggest Modi establish a Ministry of Insults, because every two days he makes some insulting remark.” The leader added, “My brother has never said anything that would insult the military. My brother wants the best for the military and is a patriot. He stands up to these people, he is fearless, and he exposes the truth to the entire nation.”
The Congress leader said that he hopes the elections in Bihar will be fair, as the opposition has raised the issue of vote theft. He said that if the elections are not fair, then these people will do the same as they have done in other states. He said that if governments are formed by stealing votes, deleting names, and adding names, then where is democracy in the country? He said that these people abuse anyone who raises their voice because they are not afraid. He said that Rahul Gandhi will not stop, he will speak the truth, and the entire country is watching the truth.
Earlier, while addressing a rally in Chanpatia, Priyanka Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that he seems more concerned about political posters than burning issues like crime, corruption, and youth education. She said that no one cares about Nitish Kumar anymore. “The PM seems more concerned about Rahul Gandhi’s picture on Congress posters or Tejashwi Yadav’s picture on RJD posters than your problems,” she said. “The PM is concerned that the Congress party displays a small picture of Tejashwi Yadav and that RJD posters display a small picture of Rahul Gandhi. He is concerned about the future of Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav, but not yours. He is the Prime Minister of the country, but he doesn’t invite the Chief Minister of the state to the stage. He is wasting his time looking at posters of other parties.”
Addressing the public, the Congress MP said, “This is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s empire, where you get no help and your loans are never forgiven. But loans worth crores of rupees belonging to big industrialists like Ambani and Adani are forgiven. This is Modi’s empire, where Bihar’s robust education system has completely derailed. He makes big claims, but he has nothing to show for it.”
The Bihar Assembly elections are being held in two phases for the state’s 243 seats. The first phase will be held on November 6th, while the second phase will be held on November 11th. The election results will be declared on November 14th. A close contest is expected between the All India Mahagathbandhan (Mahgathbandhan) and the NDA in Bihar.
