Patna: Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has stated that criminals will have to leave Bihar at any cost. This time, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has also been given the responsibility of the Home Ministry.
In fact, after assuming the Home Ministry, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary arrived at the BJP state office. Workers warmly welcomed him upon his arrival. Meanwhile, speaking to the media, he said, “The BJP leadership, under the direction of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, has given me the opportunity to serve as Home Minister. I assure the people of Bihar that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, we will continue to ensure the establishment of good governance in Bihar.”
He said, “Nitish Kumar has consistently established good governance. The entire system of good governance will continue to be under his guidance and leadership.” The Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar added, “There is good governance in Bihar. A system has been established in Bihar. Bihar’s good governance has ended anarchy and jungle raj, and that system will be fully implemented. But one thing is certain: Bihar is not for criminals. Criminals will have to leave Bihar.”
In fact, on Friday, a day after Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was sworn in, portfolios were distributed within the Bihar government. The crucial Home portfolio in the new cabinet has been assigned to Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary. Chaudhary, who represents the BJP, will now oversee law and order and internal security in the Nitish government. A total of 26 ministers were sworn in on Thursday. The NDA achieved tremendous success in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, securing 202 seats.
