New Delhi: Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan targeted the Congress party over the Ji Ram Ji Scheme. He said that this is a fight by the Congress to save corruption. Congress has a problem with villages, work, and Ram. It is Congress’s habit to level allegations and run away. Congress should answer why the Leader of the Opposition was not present during the discussion. Developed India Ji Ram Ji is a major reform.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan further said, “Congress is feeling uneasy because the avenues for corruption are being closed. Parliament is meant for dialogue, but attempts were made to suppress my voice to prevent the truth from coming out. The Vikasit Bharat Ji Ram Ji scheme is a direct attack on corruption. The Modi government is working with full force for the welfare and development of workers.”
According to the Union Agriculture Minister, Congress is a shop of lies, a factory of illusions, and a marketplace of rumors. Congress is spreading the rumor that laborers will not find work. The interests of laborers are firmly protected under the “Ji Ram Ji” scheme, which guarantees employment for 125 days, not 100.
He asked Congress to answer, “Where was the Leader of the Opposition when such an important plan was being discussed? Why wasn’t he present in Parliament? Why didn’t he participate in the debate? Coming out later and spreading confusion isn’t politics, it’s irresponsibility.”
Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, “Now, decisions will be made from the village, not from above. The Gram Sabha and Gram Panchayat, the Sarpanch, elected public representatives, and the brothers and sisters of the village will decide which work will be done. The villagers themselves will create a ‘Developed Gram Panchayat Plan,’ and this will move development forward.”
