Prostitution racket busted at female IAS officer’s house, 4 girls and 5 youths arrested

Police in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, have busted a major prostitution ring. The case came to light after a series of complaints of suspicious activity in a residential area. The police action sent shockwaves through the area.

A case of illegal prostitution being carried out for a long time in a house located in the Kidganj area of ​​Prayagraj has come to light. The house is reportedly in the name of a female IAS officer, who had rented it. According to reports, the house was rented for approximately 15,000 rupees per month. The person who rented the house had promised to live there with his family, but later started using it for immoral activities.

Locals reported that for some time now, strange young men and women had been frequenting the house throughout the day. This aroused the neighborhood’s suspicions, and they informed the police. Taking the complaints seriously, the police raided the house around 2:30 pm on Sunday afternoon.

As soon as the police knocked on the door of the house, there was commotion among the people present inside. Seeing this sudden action, people from the vicinity also gathered at the spot. The police caught four girls and five boys in objectionable condition from inside the house. During the search, some suspicious and objectionable items were also recovered.

Police investigation has revealed that two of the girls caught are residents of Prayagraj. While one girl is said to be from Varanasi and one from West Bengal. All the accused have been taken into custody and are being interrogated.
