Abdullah Azam’s role crucial before big decision, rumours of him leaving SP

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Azam Khan, who is lodged in Sitapur jail, has been granted bail by the Allahabad High Court. However, the Special MP-MLA Court in Rampur has added three new sections against him in the Enemy Property case, which could delay his release from jail.

Meanwhile, reports of discord between the Azam Khan family and SP President Akhilesh Yadav are circulating. According to sources, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi recently spoke with the Azam Khan family over the phone. Furthermore, leaders from the BSP and other political parties are also in contact with the Azam Khan family.

However, Azam Khan and the Samajwadi Party’s relationship is very close. Sources say that even after coming out of jail, Azam Khan will not immediately decide to leave the party. Abdullah Azam, Azam Khan’s son, is angry with Akhilesh Yadav and is concerned about his political future.

Efforts are underway within the Samajwadi Party to ensure that no rift develops between the Azam Khan family and the Saifai family. Based on past experiences, Azam Khan has left the Samajwadi Party before, but despite receiving significant offers, he did not join any other party and made a strong comeback to the Samajwadi Party.

The next few weeks will reveal what political steps Azam Khan and his family take after their release from prison. Abdullah Azam’s role is also considered crucial in this decision.
