Sardar Patel’s descendants to be present at the Statue of Unity in the presence of PM Modi

Ahmedabad: Tourists from India and abroad are continuously visiting Ekta Nagar, located in Kevadia, Narmada district, in large numbers to see the world’s tallest statue, the Statue of Unity. Like every year, a grand one-day celebration has been organized to mark Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary. Descendants of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel will also participate in this celebration, which will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Ekta Nagar on October 31st to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Sardar Patel’s descendants will also be present on this special occasion and participate in the National Unity Day celebrations.

Among Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s descendants, Gautam Dahyabhai Patel (Sardar Patel’s grandson), currently 80 years old, will be the senior member of the family. His wife, Dr. Nandita Gautam Patel, is 79 years old. As Sardar Patel’s great-grandson, Kedar Gautam Patel (47 years old), will also participate in the celebrations along with his family. His wife, Reena Patel (47), and their daughter, Kumari Kareena Kedar Patel (13), who is Sardar Patel’s great-granddaughter, will also be visiting Ekta Nagar. Gautam Dahyabhai Patel’s cousin, Samir Indrakant Patel (68), and his wife, Rita S. Patel (66), will also be present on the occasion and will be part of this event of national pride.

The presence of Sardar Patel’s descendants will make the Prime Minister’s visit even more memorable and historic.
