Congress to hold ‘Vote Chor Gaddi Chhod Maha Rally’ in Delhi on December 14: KC Venugopal

New Delhi:  KC Venugopal said that the Congress will hold a ‘Vote Chor Gaddi Chhod Maha Rally’ in Delhi on December 14.

Congress National General Secretary KC Venugopal announced that a “Vote Chor Gaddi Chhod Maha Rally” will be held at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan on December 14th, starting at 1:30 pm. The rally aims to send a nationwide message against alleged irregularities in the electoral system and attacks on democratic institutions. KC Venugopal posted this information on the social media platform X.

He alleged that the BJP and the Election Commission are colluding to influence election results, thereby undermining the Constitution and democratic values. Venugopal wrote in the X post, “The specter of vote theft is the biggest threat looming over our democracy today. To send a nationwide message against these attempts to subvert our Constitution, the Congress will hold a “Vote Chor Gaddi Chhod Maha Rally” at New Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan on December 14th (starting at 1:30 pm).”

He further said, “We have received millions of signatures from every corner of India, exposing the BJP-Election Commission’s malpractices, such as adding bogus voters, removing opposing voters, and engaging in large-scale voter roll manipulation. Furthermore, every Indian has witnessed how the Election Commission breaks rules, ignores MCC violations, and bribes in broad daylight to help the BJP rig elections.”

The Election Commission, once a neutral umpire, has now become a blatant party player, completely destroying the concept of a level playing field in elections.” Venugopal further wrote, “We will not remain silent while this attack on the electoral system unfolds before our eyes. This mega rally is just the beginning of our fight to reclaim Indian democracy from the clutches of vote thieves.”
