New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused the BJP of inciting communal violence over the Uttam Nagar incident and appealed to Delhi residents not to succumb to any provocation. In a post on Twitter, Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, wrote that the people of Uttam Nagar have paid a heavy price for the violence. On one hand, a young boy, Tarun, lost his life, and on the other, an entire family is facing oppression. He said he does not want further bloodshed.
Rahul Gandhi said that only the BJP and its ecosystem, which exploits every opportunity to foment violence and hate, want bloodshed. Gandhi further said that they (the BJP) want the country to remain embroiled in the Hindu-Muslim issue so that people cannot ask why the Prime Minister is forced to cede the country’s defense, energy security, food security, and strategic sovereignty to the United States. Therefore, riot-like situations are being created again in the national capital in broad daylight. The Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha urged the people of Delhi not to be misled – the nation’s strength lies in our unity, brotherhood, and love. Unite, unite India.
