Mumbai: Bollywood actor Salman Khan has taken a strong stance against paparazzi who take inappropriate photographs of actresses without their consent. Salman expressed his deep displeasure over the issue and warned that strict action would be taken against those who continue such irresponsible behavior despite repeated warnings.
During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of the popular reality show Bigg Boss 20, actress Neha Dhupia thanked Salman Khan for speaking out strongly against such behavior. During the show, Neha raised serious concerns about the growing trend of photographing actresses from behind or from inappropriate angles.
Salman stated that despite repeated warnings, the behavior of some paparazzi had not improved. He alleged that some photographers were treating this sensitive issue as a joke and continuing to take such pictures. Salman firmly declared that he would now take strong action to address the matter.
Salman also pointed out that some major media platforms publish such objectionable images without considering their impact, further aggravating the problem. According to him, respecting the dignity and privacy of every individual, especially women, is extremely important.
He emphasized that if an actress objects to such photographs, her concerns must be taken seriously and her wishes respected. He told Neha Dhupia that strict action should be taken against anyone who continues such behavior despite being explicitly asked to stop.
During the conversation, Salman also commented on the behavior of certain individuals in the film industry. He claimed that some actors and actresses themselves contact paparazzi and arrange for particular photographs to be taken for publicity purposes.
However, he clarified that if an artist willingly chooses to be photographed in such a manner, it is entirely their personal decision. At the same time, he stressed that the consent, privacy, and dignity of those who object to such photographs must be respected at all costs.
This is not the first time Salman Khan has expressed his displeasure over this issue. In September 2026, during an earlier episode of Bigg Boss, he questioned the photography practices of certain paparazzi. He also asked why cameras needed to focus on specific parts of actresses’ bodies while taking their photographs.
Salman’s remarks have once again brought attention to the importance of respecting women’s privacy, dignity, and consent, particularly in the entertainment industry.
