Bengaluru: The High Court has now stayed the Karnataka government’s order banning Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) events. A bench headed by Justice M. Nagaprasanna, while granting an interim stay to the Karnataka government and the Hubli Police Commissioner, questioned where they gained the constitutional authority to do so. Guwahati:  The Assam government has directed officials to investigate the alleged singing of the Bangladesh national anthem at a Congress meeting. Officials said the Bangladesh national anthem was allegedly sung at a recent Congress Seva Dal meeting in Sribhumi district. However, the Congress criticized the BJP government, saying it was trying to create unnecessary controversy. New Delhi:   Ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, a new report has raised questions about the claims of political parties promising clean politics and strong law and order. According to a report by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and Bihar Election Watch, 32 percent of the candidates contesting the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections have criminal cases against them.
