Varun Gandhi’s ticket canceled from Pilibhit; BJP wants to make him contest from Rae Bareli?

New Delhi: BJP canceled the ticket of sitting MP Varun Gandhi from Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh in one fell swoop. Probably the people of Pilibhit also did not like this decision of the party. Then how will Varun Gandhi like it? This is the reason why Varun had written an emotional letter to the people of the area expressing his pain. In this he had written that he will continue to raise the voice of the common man in politics, no matter what the cost. Varun had written- I consider myself fortunate that I got the opportunity to serve the great people of Pilibhit for years. The ideals and simplicity I received from Pilibhit have a huge contribution in my upbringing and development, not just as an MP but also as a person. Being your representative has been the greatest honor of my life and I have always championed your cause to the best of my ability. Now news is coming that BJP can field Varun from Rae Bareli.

It is discussed that BJP had conducted a survey on Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat in which Varun Gandhi’s name emerged as the foremost candidate. This is the reason why the top leadership of BJP has intensified efforts to prepare Varun Gandhi to field him from Rae Bareli. Rae Bareli seat is a stronghold of Congress.

In 2019, only this one seat came to Congress’s account. Sonia Gandhi has been continuously elected MP from here. This time Sonia has gone to Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan quota. Lok Sabha elections 2024, Rae Bareli and Kaiserganj are the only two seats where BJP has not been able to field candidates yet. Sources claim that the top leadership of BJP has talked to Varun Gandhi about contesting elections in Rae Bareli. Varun’s ticket was earlier canceled from Pilibhit seat. There is talk that Congress is preparing to field Priyanka Gandhi from Rae Bareli this time. In such a situation, Varun has asked for time to decide whether to fight against his cousin sister. It is being said that now Varun Gandhi has to decide whether he should contest the elections or not.
