Ahmedabad: The marriage of Jeet and Diva Shah, the younger son of Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, has been completed.
Billionaire businessman Adani not only kept the wedding ceremony simple but also donated Rs 10 thousand crore. A large part of his donation will be spent on health care, education and skill development. This effort of the Adani Group is focused on providing the facilities of world-class hospitals and medical colleges at affordable prices to all sections of the society. Apart from this, efforts will be made to reach the employment potential as well as a network of 12 schools and advanced global skills academies.
It is noteworthy that Gautam Adani’s younger son Jeet Adani has studied from Pennsylvania University. He joined the Adani Group in 2019. He started his career as Group CFO looking after strategic finance, capital markets and risk and governance policy. Jeet Adani heads the airports business as well as Adani Digital Labs. Gautam Adani has shared pictures of his son Jeet’s wedding on his social media platform X. Along with this, he has also apologized for not inviting close people. Gautam Adani wrote – With the blessings of Almighty God, Jeet and Diva have tied the knot.
The wedding took place in Ahmedabad with traditional customs and Shubh Mangal among family members. It was a small and private ceremony, so I apologize for not being able to invite all the well-wishers despite the desire. I wish all your love and blessings for my daughter Diva and Jeet.
Before the marriage, Adani Group had started Mangal Seva. Under this, financial assistance will be given to 500 newly married Divyang women every year. This will enable them to start their life with self-respect and confidence after marriage. According to the information given by Adani Group, they will be given Rs 10 lakh every year to start a new life. Jeet Adani personally met 25 newly married Divyang women and their husbands and provided them financial assistance.
