India got 3 big shocks from America: Congress MP Jairam Ramesh

New Delhi: Congress MP Jairam Ramesh said that India’s diplomacy has received three major setbacks from America in a single day. These raise serious questions on India’s foreign policy and India-US relations. Jairam said that America’s Central Command Chief General Michael Kurilla called Pakistan a partner against terrorism. Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir has been invited for US Army Day. At the same time, the US State Department again said that Trump ended the India-Pak tension. The Congress leader further said that these are big setbacks for our diplomacy. They are also a warning and a challenge. The Prime Minister, who is omnipotent and omnipresent, should now call an all-party meeting. He has met the MPs who have gone on foreign trips, now he should also meet the leaders of the opposition parties.

US Central Command Chief General Michael Kurilla described Pakistan as a great anti-terrorism partner in front of the House Armed Services Committee. Is this the Pakistan where Osama bin Laden hid for 10 years and was killed in 2011? The same Pakistan has now become an anti-terrorism partner for America.

Jairam Ramesh said- America has invited Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir to participate in the parade organized on the 250th anniversary of the American Army on June 14. This is the same Asim Munir who had made provocative and inciting statements just before the Pahalgam terrorist attack. His statements only gave strength to the terrorists.

US State Department spokesperson reiterated that Donald Trump and Foreign Minister Marco Rubio have played a role in reducing Indo-Pak tensions.
