PM Modi addresses the countrymen through Mann Ki Baat on the last Sunday of every month, but this time it is being broadcast earlier due to 26 January. PM said that today the first Mann Ki Baat of 2025 is happening. You people must have noticed one thing that every time Mann Ki Baat happens on the last Sunday of the month, but this time we are meeting a week earlier, because Republic Day is on Sunday next week, I congratulate all the countrymen on Republic Day in advance. This year it is 75 years since the Constitution came into force. I salute all the great personalities of the Constituent Assembly, who have given us our sacred Constitution.
PM Modi said that 25th January is National Voters’ Day. This day is also important because on this day the Election Commission of India was established. Our constitution makers have given a big place to our Election Commission and people’s participation in democracy in the constitution. The commission has used the power of technology to give more power to people’s power.
PM Modi further said that Maha Kumbh has started in Prayagraj. Unforgettable crowd, unimaginable scene and extraordinary confluence of equality and harmony… This time many divine yogas are also being formed in Maha Kumbh. This festival of Kumbh celebrates unity in diversity. The organization of Kumbh tells us how our traditions bind the whole of India in one thread. The ways of following beliefs are the same from north to south. On one hand Kumbh is organized in Prayagraj, Ujjain, Nashik and Haridwar, similarly Pushkaram takes place on the banks of Godavari, Krishna, Narmada and Kaveri rivers in the southern part.
PM Modi said that in the beginning of 2025 itself, India has achieved many historic achievements in the field of space. Today I am proud to inform that Bengaluru-based Pixel, an Indian spacetech startup, has successfully launched India’s first private satellite constellation – Fire-Fly. This success is a symbol of the growing strength and innovation of our private space sector. I congratulate the Pixel team, ISRO, and In-Space on behalf of the entire country for this achievement.
