KSU criticizes government for cancelling KEEM exam results by High Court KSU State President Aloysius Xavier said that the government’s action of conducting experiments on the future of students is objectionable. The government’s heavy setback was due to the change in the exam norms after the entrance exam. The order regarding the consolidation of marks was issued an hour before the publication of the KEEM rank list.
The petition was filed on the grounds that CBSE students have lost their previous weightage due to the new equation for consolidation of marks. The High Court has decided to completely cancel the rank list on this. The state government has explained that the rank list is prepared by considering the marks obtained in the entrance exam and Plus Two together.
While preparing the rank list according to the previous equation, there was a complaint that Kerala syllabus students were getting 15-20 marks less than CBSE students. The government told the court that it had resorted to a formula that unified the marks to resolve this. However, the court did not consider this. The court decided to cancel the KEEM exam results after considering the concerns of CBSE students.
