New Delhi: Political rhetoric has intensified following the appointment of retired Indian Air Force Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ram Temple Trust. The following are the key points of this development:
Senior Congress leader Rashid Alvi has sharply questioned the appointment of Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra. He alleged that such appointments by the government create suspicion in the public’s minds. Alvi also questioned the retired Air Chief’s connection to the Ram Temple Trust, and whether there is a hidden truth related to “Operation Sindoor” that led to his appointment. He also criticized the government on issues related to the Ram Temple.
Countering the Congress leader’s statement, BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari shared his video on social media. Bhandari alleged that the Congress party harbors hatred for the armed forces and cannot digest the fact that India gave a befitting reply to Pakistani terrorism and attacks during Operation Sindoor.
It is noteworthy that Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra served as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Air Force Command in Delhi during Operation Sindoor. During this operation, the Indian Air Force, with utmost vigilance, successfully shot down a Pakistani “Fatah” missile aimed at Delhi in the skies over Sirsa, completely thwarting Pakistan’s attack plans.
