Mumbai: Bollywood stars Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have announced new initiatives aimed at supporting education and improving school infrastructure in Mumbai.
On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Ranveer Singh visited Mumbai’s famous Lalbaugcha Raja pandal to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha. During the visit, the actor announced that he would support the education of 1,000 girls as part of the “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.”
Announcing his participation in the initiative, Ranveer said he was committing himself to helping 1,000 girls pursue their education. He expressed hope that the initiative would make a meaningful difference in their lives and said he sought Lord Ganesha’s blessings for the effort.
The announcement adds a social-welfare dimension to the actor’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations and highlights his commitment to supporting educational opportunities for young girls.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have also announced a major initiative focused on improving educational infrastructure.
Sharing details on social media, Alia said that she and Ranbir would take responsibility for renovating 20 schools in Mumbai. The schools are expected to be upgraded with modern facilities in accordance with recommendations from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The initiative is intended to provide students with improved learning environments and better educational facilities.
On the professional front, Ranveer Singh is reportedly preparing for and filming his upcoming action-thriller project “Pralay.” The actor continues to remain busy with his forthcoming film commitments.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt also have several major projects in the pipeline. Ranbir is associated with the highly anticipated “Ramayana,” while the couple will also appear together in “Love & War.”
With their latest educational initiatives, the three Bollywood stars are drawing attention not only for their upcoming films but also for their involvement in social-welfare projects.
