Ingredients for making Cabbage Patties:
Three-fourth gram dal,
finely chopped cabbage,
one spoon ginger-garlic paste,
one spoon garam masala,
red chilli powder,
two spoons mint leaves,
two green chillies finely chopped,
two spoons rice flour,
salt as per taste,
finely chopped coriander leaves. chopped up

Method of making Cabbage Patties
– First of all wash the gram dal and drain the water. Then soak it in water for about one and a half hour.
– Cut the cabbage finely. Soak the cabbage in lukewarm water for about five minutes.Then wash with clean water and filter.
– Turn the finely chopped cabbage into a bowl. Mix it with fine coriander leaves, salt, green chilli, ginger, curry leaves and one-fourth cup of gram dal.
– Put the remaining gram dal in a grinder and grind it. Be careful not to use water for grinding.
– Now add this lentil paste to the cabbage mixture. Also add garam masala and red chili powder. Mix well and keep it for about 10 minutes. So that the moisture gets released from the cabbage.
– Now mix two spoons of rice flour in it. And take them in your hands and check whether they are tied easily or not.If not, add a little more rice flour. Also adjust salt and spices as per taste.
– Apply a little oil on your hands and prepare round patties.
– Put oil in the pan and fry all these patties on the pan until they turn golden.If you want, you can also deep fry, but frying in less oil on the pan is more healthy.
– Just serve with hot sauce or mint chutney.
