Eating this in summer keeps the body hydrated

 In summer, there are limited options of vegetables, many of which are not liked not only by children but even by adults. Every other day one has to make do with the same vegetables like lady finger (Okra), brinjal and beans. In summer, it is important to take care of health along with taste, otherwise you can become a victim of many health problems, especially dehydration. Today we are going to tell you about a dish which not only tastes amazing, but eating it will also keep the body hydrated. The name of this dish is Fenugreek-Radish Jholi.

Radish should be included in your diet especially in summer because it contains about 95% water. Minerals like calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper, iron are present in fenugreek. This means that by eating this vegetable, many essential nutrients for the body can be supplied. Let us know how to make it.

Fenugreek-Radish Jholi Recipe

Ingredients- Radish – 2 medium sized grated, Fenugreek – 1 cup chopped, Curd – 1 cup, Water – 4 cup, Gram flour – 2 tbsp, Salt as per taste, Mustard – 1/4 tsp, Cumin – 1/4 tsp , Fenugreek seeds – 1/4 tsp, Whole red chilli – 2, Garlic – chopped 1 tbsp, Asafoetida – a pinch, Turmeric, Chilli, Coriander powder, Oil – 2 tbsp

Method

  • Grate the radish and chop the fenugreek also.
  • Heat oil in pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, whole red chillies and fenugreek seeds.
  • Then add garlic and asafoetida and fry for a while.
  • Then add grated radish and fenugreek leaves to it. Also add turmeric, red chilli and coriander powder.
  • Put curd in a bowl and add gram flour to it and beat it well. Mix the curd mixture in the fenugreek-radish vegetable.
  • Cover the lid and cook for at least 20-25 minutes. If the bag seems thick, add some water to it.
  • Fenugreek-radish bag is ready to serve.
  • You can have it with steamed rice or roti.
