New Delhi: Addressing a press conference after the Bharatiya Janata Party’s national meeting held in New Delhi, the party’s national general secretary Vinod Tawde shared important information. He informed that after the first meeting of the newly appointed national office bearers of the party, a detailed workshop has been conducted with the state presidents of all the states, organization general secretaries and the provincial teams formed for the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. Vinod Tawde said that the ‘Seva Pakhwada’, which is celebrated every year on 17 September to commemorate the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will be given a more comprehensive form this time.
The BJP leader pointed out that Narendra Modi first assumed office as Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001. This year, October 7 marks the completion of 25 years of his public service. To mark this historic occasion, the party has decided to expand the program, which began on September 17, to a month-long “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan” across the country.
The “Seva Setu” initiative will also be launched during the campaign. This initiative will help citizens who have been deprived of government benefits due to a lack of necessary documentation. Special camps will be held for 15 days at the block level, where officials from relevant departments will be present to resolve issues related to the Ayushman Card, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, and other schemes on the spot.
“National Innovation Challenge” competitions will be held at the block, district, and state levels to inspire youth to research and find solutions to local social problems. Additionally, under the “My Contribution to Service” initiative, youth are encouraged to create and share inspirational reels about participating in service activities such as sanitation, tree planting, and tuberculosis eradication.
As part of this campaign, party workers will visit more than 1.4 million Anganwadi centers across the country to felicitate workers, and programs like “Anganwadi Samman and Matri Samvad” will be organized. Vinod Tawde stated that to take the campaign to the booth level, meetings and workshops will be held at the state level until August 31st, and then at the district level.
