Prayagraj: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while launching a scathing attack on the previous Samajwadi Party governments at an election rally in Prayagraj, said that during their tenure, the future of young people preparing for competitive examinations was jeopardized.
He said that at that time, government jobs were not available on time, and even when recruitment advertisements were published, the process of extortion would begin. The rights of young people were undermined by appointing unqualified individuals to important positions in recruitment commissions. However, the double-engine government has provided jobs to young people through a completely transparent, fair, and merit-based selection process.
The Chief Minister emphasized that today, young people and students preparing for competitive examinations in Prayagraj are pursuing their goals with dedication and hard work. During the tenure of the double-engine government, a large number of young people have secured government jobs through transparent selection processes, significantly boosting their self-confidence. He said that today’s youth are no longer just job seekers but are also becoming job creators through various startups.
The Chief Minister also said that the double-engine government has completely dismantled the forces that had created an identity crisis for Prayagraj and the state. He claimed that the mafia has now been wiped out from Prayagraj. He added that when the UPSC examination results are announced, the daughters of Prayagraj secure top ranks, further enhancing the prestige of this holy city.
The government has not only opened the doors to government employment for young people but has also worked to make them self-reliant through startups and the Chief Minister’s Youth Scheme.
During his address, the Chief Minister appealed to voters to ensure a landslide victory for BJP and NDA-supported candidate Ashok Rathore in the Allahabad-Jhansi Graduate Legislative Council constituency elections. He urged voters to participate enthusiastically in the October 23 elections and cast their votes in favour of the BJP candidate.
Several dignitaries, including Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Minister-in-Charge Swatantra Dev Singh, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, Minister of State Krishna Paswan, MP Praveen Patel, Rajya Sabha MP Radha Mohan Das Ojha, Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani, District Panchayat Chairman Dr. V.K. Singh, and Legislative Council Member Manvendra Singh, were present at the event.
