DR. ANIL PAULOSE AND MOHINDER SINGH TANEJA TO LEAD THE GLOBAL INDIAN COUNCIL NEW YORK CHAPTER

New York: The Global Indian Council (GIC), launched with the lofty ideals of providing a common platform for the Indian diaspora living in various countries, is spreading its wings to different states and countries at a fast pace.

Global President Mr. P.C. Mathew was warmly welcomed at Marriott at Union Dale, NY on 9th September ’22; along with Sudhir Nambiar- GIC Global General Secretary, Tara Shajan – Global Treasurer, Tom George Kolath- Global Associate Treasurer, Usha George- Global Senior Care Chair, and Sosamma Andrews- Global Woman Empowerment Chair.

GIC Global President Mr.P.C. Mathew, in his presidential address, thanked the organizers of the meeting and briefed the vision and mission of the organization on which GIC is strongly building up. He also thanked all the functioning GIC National Committees in various countries for their encouraging spirit and confidence and assured the support of the GIC Global Cabinet, GIC Ambassadors & its 22 Centers of Excellence in all their future endeavors.

General Secretary Sudhir Nambiar proposed Dr. Anil Paulose as NY President-Elect, and Mohinder Singh Taneja as NY Coordinator.

Anil Paulose, completed Phd in environmental sciences and migrated to US in 1998, CEO of Reliance Insurance and Accounting in NYC for 23+ years as a business consultant, risk management and accountant for small business and also actively involved in the hospitality industry.

Mohinder Singh Taneja who is the Director of Diversity Outreach at Suffolk County, New York. He is a very active leader in Indian diaspora and American Community.

The President and the gathering welcomed the proposal, and their nominations were accepted for future expansion of committees in the region.

Global Treasurer Tara Shajan expressed the vote of thanks, and the meeting concluded with a sumptuous dinner.

GIC Global Vice President Prof. Joy Pallattumadom, GiC Goodwill Ambassador Dr. Jija HariSingh and Dr. J. Rajmohan Pillai, Global Chair for Business Excellence conveyed their congratulations and appreciations to the newly constituted GIC New York Chapter.
