No more grants to new madrasas in UP; CM Yogi reverses Akhilesh government’s decision

The Uttar Pradesh government will no longer give grants to the permanently recognized madrassas of Aaliya level up to the year 2023. This decision was taken on the proposal brought by the Minority Welfare Department in the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday.
