Opposition parties met the President on Manipur issue

New Delhi:  Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi reacting to the news of opposition parties meeting President Draupadi Murmu on Manipur matter, said that let them meet, we (government) have no objection, but the house is running, even in the list of Rajya Sabha Had put the discussion on Manipur. The Union Home Minister is ready to discuss and answer in detail but we are not able to understand what is their (opposition parties’) problem, people are also not able to understand.

When asked about the involvement of opposition parties in the discussion on Delhi government’s Bill of Rights, Union Minister Joshi said that it is a welcome move and he is satisfied that God has given him wisdom. The Union Minister said that YSR Congress and BJD are supporting this bill for the right reasons and therefore Mr. P. Chidambaram has objections.
