Two more special trains will run for the convenience of Amarnath pilgrims

Jammu: For the convenience of Amarnath Yatris, Indian Railways has announced to run two more special trains. Prior to this, the Railways had run five additional special trains for the Amarnath Yatra. According to a railway spokesperson, in view of the extra rush of passengers in Jammu and Kashmir during the Amarnath Yatra, it has been decided to run two summer special trains between New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. Train number 04087 New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Gatishakti Summer Special Express will make a total of two trips. Gati Shakti Summer Special train will depart from New Delhi at 11:15 PM on July 02 and reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 11.25 AM the next day.

In the return direction, train number 04088 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – New Delhi Gati Shakti Summer Special will depart Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 06.30 pm on 03 July and reach New Delhi at 06.50 am the next day. Air-conditioned class coaches will be installed in this train. En route, this train will halt at Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu Tawi and Udhampur stations in both the directions. Whereas, another train number 04095 will make total two trips between Delhi Junction to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. This summer special train will leave Delhi Junction at 11:15 pm on July 03 and reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 11:25 am the next day.

In the return direction, train number 04096 will leave Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra for Delhi Junction at 06:30 PM on 04th July from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to reach Delhi Junction at 06:50 AM the next day. Air conditioned, sleeper and general class coaches will be installed in this train. En route, this train will halt at Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Jammu Tawi and Udhampur stations in both the directions.
